Joel Vogel is Vice President of Operations for ArrowShade, a division of Pomo One Marketing, where he is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of its lead generation, analytics, sales and distribution operations.
Prior to joining ArrowShade, Vogel served as Director of Leads and Analytics for MacFarlane Group, where he successfully restructured and led the company’s risk-based management strategies during a period of substantial corporate growth. During his tenure, Vogel and his team created proprietary risk-scoring algorithms and business management tools, which are now considered best practice and led to the implementation of sophisticated analytics and data modeling for operational decisions within the short-term financial services industry. Additionally, Vogel pioneered the use of risk-based pricing in lead acquisition, which associated acquisition cost with customer profitability. His efforts resulted in decreased acquisition costs during a period of industry stagnation and competitive contraction.
Previously, Vogel was Client Services Manager at Geneva Roth Ventures where he built the company’s customer service team and initial infrastructure, which led to more streamlined and efficient call center operations. During this time, his expertise in customer acquisition propelled the business’s expansion where it became a top-ten industry leader.
Vogel holds a Master’s of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.
